Project Description

Transitional style apartment designed for a fashion designer with a very clear idea of what he wanted.

the apartment was sectioned by walls and drop ceilings, we decided to clean the main space to take advantage of the full scale creating a loft type of container where Kitchen, living room and eventual dining room coexist.

the kitchen has built in walnut for the base cabinets and white semi gloss finish for the wall cabinets, the counter top and back splash are carrara marble.

In the living room we decided to keep exposed the brick and cement blocks to show the history of the building  in its multiple layers of materials and to create a counterpoint with the sleek new finishes and furniture.

The bathroom was done in Calacata gold with vintage look chrome appliances and lighting.

the bedroom was divided in two placing an stainless steel fuel fireplace with a reclaim mantel and a mix of marble tiles, the main volume was clad in alabaster.

the room color is a calm steel blue with all the doors and cabinetry in dark wood and accents in red and yellow.
